just some monday morning sketches to warm up me quickly stiffening hands and brain...sigh...you ever have those days where you just don't feel like you can draw? That you have no actual creativity, and you're just a hack, and that you should just give up, because everyone knows that you're a hack and are just too nice to tell you, so they let you vainly continue on all the while tisk tisk-ing thinking "what a sad, sad little bald man". No? Uh, me either. I was just curious. I read somewhere that some people think that....sooooo, uh...yeah....

Been diggin' your blog for a while now and I'd like to say that you do great work and that the humour you paint all over the place is refreshing!
I gots a question for ya:
Is the third image a straight scan or did you adjust it in Photoshop at all?
I'm curious because I can't seem to get my sketchy pages to look as, uh...clean as yours do! Could be my scanner sucks...

dave- thanks for the kind words...and as for the scan...it's just a straight scan from work...tho sometimes i have to adjust the brightness/contrast a bit to get it to show up a little better...I also tend to draw a little heavy...I'm not as light on the pencil as i should be..giggle...
