Just a couple of drawins that I did whilst waiting for the scene to build...so how was your day? I was just curious, because you seem happier. Ah, sorry. That's anger? okay.....now I know.

anyway...I just wanted to give a shout out and a huge THANK YOU to Jared Chapman for putting me up on drawn. It was really awesome of him, and your check is in the mail. Here's the actual posting...I'm a bit late on this, because I've been kinda locked in the closet again...and no, not the tom cruise closet, but the one in the hallway. The one with the spiders...yeah, that one. Anyhoo...thanks mange...you rock.

vancouver weekend

i played my first game of three man this weekend....i think i won...or lost...whichever gets you the most tipsy.

new painting

Here's a new painting that I did for illustration friday, but it's a bit too late. So I'll just post it along with the original sketch idea for the painting. This was an enjoyable painting to do...I decided to take my time and try patience as apposed to loose speed and slop. Anyway..feel free to destroy my ego and rip it apart...I enjoy a little beating now and again. Just don't try to use that whip thing that you tried to use last time. I wasn't expecting it. You can't just spring something like that one a guy without any kind of notice. I mean, c'mon...we only had like one glass of wine, and, okay...I decided to let the comment you made about my man boobs slide, but then you had to go and get all freaky and stuff....so, yeah...just give me some notice nextime. K? Good.

more fun with markers...

I feekin' love these prismacolor markers...they're fun...I'm nowhere near the ability of Anton Bogaty or John K., but it's still fun...I suggest you try them...it's fun for the whole family, including the small woodland creatures out in your back yard. But don't invite old Mrs. Henderson. She doesn't like fun. Only commies have fun.

Oh, and now there's a Skunk Fu blog up...check 'em out...it would be such a fun project to work on.

some monday morning nonsense

just some monday morning sketches to warm up me quickly stiffening hands and brain...sigh...you ever have those days where you just don't feel like you can draw? That you have no actual creativity, and you're just a hack, and that you should just give up, because everyone knows that you're a hack and are just too nice to tell you, so they let you vainly continue on all the while tisk tisk-ing thinking "what a sad, sad little bald man". No? Uh, me either. I was just curious. I read somewhere that some people think that....sooooo, uh...yeah....

My sister-in-law wanted me to sketch her something for her myspace account...so I did these. The first one is her, and the second is because she likes carebears. So I made one up. Hope she likes 'em.

this guy really loves his mint chocochip icecream. I'm still debating whether there should be outlines or nots...I guess I'll decide once I start the paintin'...

new tattoo...

I got my new tattoo. The kid who did it redrew my cartoony design and made it cool and manly. Here you can see it in all it's macho glory, along with a picture of my really manly Godzilla that I got on ebay. Notice the really cool hair cuff on my wrist. I'm thinking of shaving my arms 'cept for the sweatbands made of hair...it'll make me millions...bwwwwahahahahaha. Feel free to pre-order.

here's my submission for Illustration Friday's "Rain"...I was going to paint it, but then I ran outta time. Then, a bunch of rabid monkeys stole my paints, and I had to chase them all the way to Omaha and battle the Giant Squid Bee, it was pretty trying on my ever-receding hairline. Oh, and there were cute kittens with razor sharp claws, who tried to knead my flesh off. So, yeah. There you go.

okay...so I came up with this lil guy last night. I like him, but I'm not sure if he's something I saw before and I'm just barfing up my own version or not...anyway, if anyone knows if I'm ripping someone off, please, PLEASE let me know. But anyway, these are about in the order I drewed him...his outfit started out as a Venetian pole guy, but then I threw on a french hat...so I dunno...his name is Hank. He likes rice crispy squares.

So this is what I drew inbetwixed sessions of Guitar hero. And, yes, the last one is heavily influenced by Shane Glines, but I was trying to change it a bit so's not to end up one of the many Glines ripoffs that are out there...and I wanted to draw boobies. giggle, giggle, snort. and post a couple of warmups I did this mornin'. Anyhoo, for those of you who care, no new news on Esther's arrival. Could be as late as December (worst case senerio), so huddle wants to get a puppy.
